MYIO Resources for Patients

 

The resources linked in this article will help to inform patients all about MYIO. If patients have additional questions regarding MYIO, they should reach out to their provider or care team.

The MYIO app and web browser are HIPAA compliant and backed by market-leading secure cloud infrastructure.  The Valant team is continuously improving MYIO and everyone should ensure their app is up-to-date for the best patient portal experience.

Coming in May 2025

To better your patients' experience, starting May 14, 2025, MYIO users will log in using their patient portal email address instead of a username.

What’s changing?

• Patients will log in using their portal email address and password, or via Magic Link.
• Usernames will no longer be used to log in to MYIO after May 14, 2025

Suggested Actions:

1. Notify your patients about this change. 

Key Message to Patients:

“Your MYIO login process is being simplified! Starting May 14, 2025 use your portal email address (not username) to access your MYIO patient portal account.”

Patients will also receive an alert within the MYIO login page informing them of the change.

To make accessing your patient portal easier, we’re simplifying the login process.

Starting May 14, 2025:

• Use your portal email address (the one you registered with) and password to log in.
• The Magic Link option will still be available.

Usernames will no longer work for login.
